I'm considering a career change in my mid-30s and I've been considering a career as an OT or SALT for some time. I'm leaning towards becoming a SALT because I have some disabilities including one that means that I struggle to life heavy objects but I'm trying to find out if becoming an OT is still an option for me. I'd appreciate any advice or thoughts from anyone who has had experience of either of these professions. Is there more job security or better opportunities in one particular field? Though any opinions would be appreciated.

TIA
