I discovered podcasts. Never listened to them before, although I love audio books.

Favourite one, is Neil Olivers Lover Letters to Britain.

I also watched some plays online, living in the sticks I dont get to go to the theatre much. And I explored some of the museums that came online.

Also discovered YouTube was more than just to teach you how to plump in the washing machine.
I'm enjoying the BBC Scotland, National Theatre of Scotland ScenesofSurvival.

Breaking Bad and Ozark. I don't usually watch a lot of television. I somehow found I had a lot more time, just because I didn't go out as much. My work hours stayed the same.

Lots of YouTube documentaries, especially art and museums. Plays and other shows on both YouTube and a couple of theatres' own websites.

Ozark

I went down the Outlander rabbit hole! Grin

Andrew Lloyd-Webber musicals - I am not a big fan but I'd forgotten how good the early ones with Tim Rice were and my DD loved them! It was our Friday night ritual, settling down after tea to see whichever production was on - I hope they come back in a few weeks. (The Shows Must Go On)

Hamilton. We could never have afforded theatre tickets, travel, hotel etc to see it in London.

Tiger King!

Seems like a lifetime ago but wow Grin

I've been watching CNN, it's a plus having some eye candy in Chris Cuomo 😍

Also reading, haven't read a book in a few years. Although the minute I pick up a book someone feels like chatting.

Mytholmroyd · 03/08/2020 09:40

@Shosha1 Happy to be here!

The Open University free courses. I did one on Covid on Future Learn and became hooked!

I did a couple of virtual pastry classes on Zoom which were really good fun, and I never would have known about otherwise.

Also did a zoom yoga class at my old yoga studio which was nice; haven’t done any yoga for years.

I started a National Theatre play on YouTube but gave up after about five minutes (and went back to Real Housewives probably Grin)

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/08/2020 20:02

I learnt how to perm my eyelashes.

Indeed! Haven't read so many novels in such a short space of time before nor been so invested in a tv series - love it!

@Mytholmyrod its such a nice world. I read all the books x3 and discovered the fanfiction which I am enjoying now.
