I'm now onto my third style mask and they're al leaving me with a sweaty hot face... slightly itchy even though they're meant to be cotton and all horrible in the hot weather. Has anyone found a cool, as in temperature not 😎 one pls they can recommend?? Breathable... airy... comfy... help! I feel really claustrophobic in them anyway so desperate to find one I don't mind wearing! I don't care what it looks like, it's the feel that's important! Thanks!

Not yet but I wouldnt recommend the satin style one i got from a reputable company. Fits nicely on the face with adjustable straps but the material gets sucked in on every breath.

As a mouth breather with breathing problems none of the masks I have tried have been any good.

Following. I am struggling with them. Have a tiny touch of asthma, not even enough for an inhaler but I thi k it's more claustrophobic than anything. I am going to try a lightweight scarf next and see if that's any better as it might not be so restricted.

Don’t buy the Adidas ones. Very very hot underneath them. But I don’t think they let any air in, which is clearly a good thing!

Fucking awful things, I've almost passed out twice now whilst wearing them, am claustrophobic at the best of times but those things send me over the edge.

I’ve stopped wearing my hearing aids when I wear a mask. Terrified I’ll lose them.

Thanks all... glad it's not just me, in the nicest possible way! I'm Hoping someone will come along soon with a brilliant suggestion of something that's not baking hit after wearing for 2 mins!!

Wear a disposable surgical mask, with loops around the ears . Knot the loops at their base . It makes the mask more rounded and pouted so that the material is away from the mouth and nostrils. Disclosure - I’m surgeon so practiced in mask wearing...

I got 3 for £5 out of B&M yesterday in desperation as I was really struggling with the other ones I’ve got. I managed an hour in Tesco this afternoon with no problem, they are incredibly light and I almost couldn’t tell I had it on. They are reusable ones but really thin breathable fabric (which kind of defeats the purpose I suppose) but I simply can’t wear the cotton ones x

Disposable for me cannot cope with the fabric ones, asthma and hayfever. That knot loop trick is a good one, many thanks @olympicsrock
