Does anyone else get a lot of headaches?

I get headaches a lot, I no this could be down to several things, I work all day in front of a computer, i probably don’t drink enough water and I also use screens at home a lot so I no this is probably my fault but has anyone got any tips or remedies to stop them? I seem to take so much paracetamol/nurofen as my headaches seem to get really bad really quickly!
I have had my eyes checked and they are fine! I don’t know if this is linked but about a year ago I had shingles on my scalp and since then I seem to have a lot more headaches! Has anyone got any tips or anything I can do to stop them! I’m worried about the amount of pain relief I take!

I used to. Then I started wearing my glasses all the time and drinking lots of water.

Get a lot less now.

I do, I have done since I was about 2. I've seen a doctor a few times over the years but they're never bothered although I was told years ago to not take things like nerofen as my body gets used to it and then not taking it causes another headache (or something. Sounds like an addiction!) Apparently I should only take plain paracetamol. I also worry about the amount of times I take pain relief!

Yeah, I'm the same! It's definitely got worse as I've got older too. Probably hormonal, like everything else!

For a long time I would get awful headaches (with nausea, dizziness) at weekends and would be popping paracetamol and ibuprofen all the time.

After trying everything, I finally worked out that they were caused by caffeine withdrawal. I was having a lot of caffeine in the week at work but next to none at weekends.

I now make sure I have very low but regular caffeine intake every day (could have decided to give it up altogether but chose not to) and rarely ever have any headaches any more and never of the type I used to.

And I used to think they were likely hormonal because of my age but it seems I had just developed a sensitivity to caffeine when I reached middle age.
