Does anyone know if you can re-melt gelatine?

I've never used it before & am making "ice cubes" to go on a birthday cake for tomorrow.

I've filled two ice cube trays (don't think I need that many) but still have some left over so wondered if I could re-melt what's left when dd2's finished on Minecraft & maybe add fruit (or something) and some flavour to it rather than waste it?

I think you can as long as you don’t boil it, if boiled it doesn’t set again.
