We have one already but I just wanted an opinion....
We’re in the process of scouting out a new home. Ours is on the market. We aren’t viewing anything because we aren’t proceedable (yet) but obviously I am looking at Rightmove etc.
Lots of the properties I am looking at have what would be the spare room being the smallest room. In some cases small and long too which really doesn’t help. One house I really love the guest room would be 2.10m x 3.5m. Most of our overnight guests are couples - in-laws, my parents come from abroad, etc so the spare room has to be able to accommodate a bed which pulls out to a double or similar.
I also don’t much like it when people have to climb over each other to get in and out of bed. Not the most suitable for some of our older relatives.
Then I had a random thought - can the hemnes daybed be pulled out and used the other way - and I googled and sure enough people do seem to do this (I’ve attached a photo) but surely the bed is really short?
I’m not about to go and test with ours which is in our box room and can’t really be pulled out without leaving zero floor space - plus for viewings this week it’s got ironing bedding and very artistically arranged cushions so no chance!
Does anyone else use this bed this way round?
