WRECKED SOFA! BLOODY DFS!

Hi,

If anyone out there has some practical advice on this I'd be so grateful.

Bought my fabric sofa a year ago from DFS. Knew at the time their add-on £30 cleaning kit would be a rip off but got it anyway.

Yesterday, I read and re-read the instructions on their (terribly worded) cleaning kit - was very keen to get rid of unidentified water type stains (the kind that leave an unsightly yellowish 'ring').

There are 3 different types of cleaners in the kit- I used the one specifically for water marks and yellowing. Seemed counter productive bunging a load more water on the sofa, but that's what it said (in so many words).

Today, my sofa has gone from being the proud focal point of my lounge, to looking like something from a care home for incontinent dogs.

Trying to stay calm but feel a breakdown coming on...... please help!!

@Sheeshisthatthetime it's the way to be !!
Just had a quick look and it's not exactly the same but definitely the same material so I'd say go for it. Mine have come up new!

We are just about to order a couple of DFS zinc sofas, but the water mark of doom is my worst nightmare. Does anyone have the zinc and does it mark easily? Could be a deal breaker for us

Did you contact dfs about this? What did they say? I have the same issue and they’re saying there’s no issue with there cleaning kit had two technicians come into my home and speak to me like I was a child claiming this has never happened before so can’t be a fault of theirs I haven’t had my sofa a year cost me an arm and a leg 🤦🏽‍♀️
