So we thought our holiday would be cancelled, we weren't given an option to rebook next year so we are now going next week
Grateful to hear positive stories that it was all easy and clean

Following, going in 2 weeks

Check where you are going is actually open and what facilities are open when you get there. I have read that if there are certain aspects not available you are entitled to cancel or rebook a later date.

We're in Italy. Travelling was fine. Much quieter than usual of course. Was on my own with 3 under 4 and it was all manageable. The mask was a bit suffocating on the plane but my fault for choosing a thick one I think. I've since worn much better ones.

Make sure that the hotel/accommodation is actually open. Do not relay on your holiday operator to confirm this. Contact the hotel directly.

Following as we're due to go to Tenerife in 5 weeks.

We’re currently in the South of France. Flights were cancelled so we drove...a bit of a slog (two long days with plenty of stops) but fine. Town is open. Self catering so spending our days on the beach. Glorious!

DMum and DBiL have joined us. Both came by train...they said wearing a mask was a bit miserable but otherwise all fine.

Recently returned from Portugal. Airport quieter than usual, all very easy to socially distance. Had to wear mask on plane, of course, except while eating. Temperature checks on the way out and back. Nothing too disruptive though and all very clean and well managed.

Most places out there open but quieter than usual for the time of year. Masks mandatory indoors except while seated in restaurants. Enjoyed eating out and went to a water park where numbers were restricted so queues much shorter than usual!
