Baby had 12mo vaccines today and is inconsolable

Just that really, he had his jabs at noon today. He had a cry when they went in but calmed down and has been happy and playful all day.

He spiked a fever about two hours ago, we gave Calpol, but it's been two hours now of constant screaming, I mean no stopping or moments of calmness, just hysterics.

How long will this last? What do I do?

I took my boy back to the GP after his when he was crying 7 hours later thinking they had broken him for good... he was fine!!! He literally screamed for 7 hours!!! He woke up the next day in a bad mood and then was fine!!! I would keep up with the calpol doses every 4 hours, if he’s very unhappy maybe between the calpol doses give a dose of ibuprofen.

I hope he calms down soon, it’s horrible seeing them so sad isn’t it. 🤗
