What toys did your six to twelve month old love?

DS is getting bored of his toys and I want to get a few bits as well as a few bits to put away for when he's a year old
He loves Sophie the giraffe and his stacking cups and any teething toysbut looking for something a bit different to capture his interest

Any recs?

I kept all my tin lids (from jars) over many, many months and put them in a big tin (think biscuit tin/quality street tin) then would leave dc with the open tin full of tin lids - hours of fun on a regular basis. Much more use than any other toys I bought.

That's a great idea with the lids

Stacking cups and toomies eggs. Both played with pretty much every day from 6 months and still in regular use now at 18 months.

Both cheap too!

DD really loves her musical toys, she has a tambourine, shaky egg, clappers etc. She also has an activity triangle from Asda that she likes. Board books she likes looking at, bonus points if it's cardboard as she likes to chew them.
