Were you in Bolivia in 1971?

Maybe the oddest question of the day but desperately looking for anyone who was in Bolivia in 1971 to maybe help try and piece some bits together regarding my late grandfather's history.

I'm not expecting many responses but just one reply could help me.

No I'm not on Twitter - I've been doing some FB searches but not much joy.

I just wanted to find out what it was like to live there at that time and ask if they recognise some specific coupons from that time

I know it was a very politically unstable time in Bolivia in 1971 and my grandfather (British) was working as an engineer regarding oil and gas lines but I don't know which company he worked for.
I'm just interested to know what it was like to be there during the instability and whether they might recognise these notes/coupons or have an idea what they might have been for.
