Is it possible to wear jewellery with nickel when allergic?

I bought a necklace in the ale which I love but it must contain nickel as after a day of wearing it I am all red and itchy

Is there any solution that means I could wear it comfortably or is it resigned to the jewellery box?

Sorry

eBay better than jewellery box Grin

I can't even wear my wedding ring as it's partly white gold and I didn't realise that white gold contains nickel. I did look into getting it plated, but apparently it only lasts a short time before wearing off. I ended up using some inheritance money and buying a platinum one instead.

So to answer the question: not in my experience, sorry.

I've never found a way, I just don't bother much with jewellery now

No, I can't.

I echo the others, sorry. I've never found a solution to one of my favourite pairs of earrings which I bought in Russia many moons ago. The lady promised me they were silver.....but they most certainly aren't!

Paint underside with clear nail polish. Not a permanent solution, but better than stuck in a jewellery box.

No I can't.
