Wireless earphone case (galaxy buds) in the wash! Any hope for them??

Accidentally put the charging case for my earphones (galaxy buds if it makes a difference) in the washing machine with my bedding at a 60 wash for an hour! Luckily just the case and not the buds themselves. Can hear it rattling around in there but can't get it out... has anyone else done this? If not these specific earphones any other bluetooth wireless ones. Any chance of it coming out still working?

It might still work. Just make absolutely sure that it's completely dry before trying it. You may need to wait a few days.

I washed the apple ones and they were fine. Also my car key fob.

They were both fine.

My son put his girlfriend's Apple earbuds in the washing machine and they dried out fine so you might be lucky

Phew, feeling less worried about them now! Do I just leave them to airdry? Someone suggested rice or a hairdryer, bit wary of the latter in case it fries it

Use a hair dryer on low for a bit but still let them dry out for a few days.
