So we have clippers to do back and sides. Which I did a couple of times in lockdown. He likes it longer on top And won’t let me use clippers there. It’s getting quite long now and I want to try to take some off. I watched a few YouTube videos and most stylists seem to hold the hair up at 90 Degrees Between fingers/comb to cut it. I assume this is best. But what I can’t work out is if I should have the hair parallel to the side of the head. Or perpendicular. When I cut it. I have seen it done both ways in the videos. Can anyone shed light on which is easier? He likes it longer with a bit of a fringe on top. I am just trying to keep to the same style as previously but with a centimetre or so taken off. Hoping for it to be a bit choppy so that you can’t tell my amateur attempt.
