Please help me find a campsite in Scotland 27-31st July?

Pathetic I know...

ExH has promised my two kids a weeks camping with him.
They are super excited as he rarely stirs his backside in their honour.
Only, guess what? - he's not booked anything and seems astonished that things seem to be 'all booked up'.

both kids have Autism and are struggling to adjust to no camping with Dad concept now. So, I'm trying to calm them down after he's dropped this bombshell and trying to get online (patchy but have got onto MN :) whilst googling campsites.

Anyone have any hunches where might have spaces?

Do you need a pitch for a tent? A site for a caravan? To hire a caravan?

I probably can't help, but anyone that can will need more info.

Found that one looking on here btw - pretty definitive list of all campsites and you can search by area and filters by tent pitches with hook ups

This www.meadowhead.co.uk/parks/mortonhall/accommodation/ is close to us and a bus trip to central Edinburgh.

oh and has electric hook up available for the nights needed.
