Watching Bombshell and it's made me think about the number of times I've been sexually harassed at work.

I work in a predominantly female environment, but the few males have still managed to do the following:

  1. Ask if I'll wear a uniform if I act as his secretary
  2. Push erection up against me
  3. Numerous comments on my clothing being tight
  4. Telling me I'd look good on my knees
  5. Pinch my arse
  6. Slap my arse and defend it as a sporting action for people you admire

.... the list goes on.

Makes me so angry.

I sometime wonder if anyone watches these dramas and has a moment when they're awash with shame and overcome by the thought that they've done that - that they've abused their position or sexually harassed a colleague?

If so, I wonder if anyone has ever apologised for it or even thought of making amends?

One can only hope. I do think that if anyone did feel remorseful, it would be highly unlikely they'd apologise. This sort of behaviour, I think, is based around ego and power.
