Anyone do lowish carb but not for weight loss?? Need advice

So I think I want to try going low-moderate carb.

I don't want to lose weight, but over lockdown I at first lost 11lbs fast and then gained it back fast. I've always been very active, but not now, and my mid section is decidedly flabbier recently. Think maybe cause I haven't been active it all settled on there. Hate it.

Not expecting low carb to completely fix it, but I keep reading it helps shift tummy fat somewhat, so I want to give it a go.

I've really bad diastasis recti so most abdo exercises are out.

How many carbs should I have a day??
I don't have much money but can do Chicken thighs, beef stews, lots of eggs, love cheese, all veggies, berries, salmon, sardines, haddock, tuna, salads with olive oil, teas, love seeds (if they are low carb), also love wine which could be problematic.i do love bread and potatoes (are sweet potatoes better as love them too??) and like pasta though. Not much of a sweet tooth but like the odd couple squares chocolate.

If I eat too much wheat in one sitting I often get bloated all day and get diahorrea about half an hour later. Too much would be a big plate of pasta or 4 slices bread. Lentils and beans unless in small amounts don't agree with me either.

How many carbs a day is sensible if you don't want to lose weight??
