Can anyone tell me why this has happened?

So until I can get her into a dentist, does anyone have any experience of a child's new tooth coming in yellow?

My DD starting losing teeth last year, one of her bottom front ones fell out and the new one started to grow in yellow. At first it looked as if skin was growing over it and that's what gave it a funny colour. But now it's grew a lot more and it looks really yellow.

The rest of her teeth are lovely, and we do brush them twice a day so it's not down to poor oral hygiene and no amount of brushing it is making a difference to the colour of this tooth.

Has anyone had experience with this and how did it turn out when it fully grew? I'm so anxious that she's going to be stuck with this one yellow tooth and then would need a lot of dental work to correct it because there's no way you could leave it.

She's only in year 1 at the minute but I can imagine it's some thing kids might pick up on as she gets older and be quite cruel about it.

Thank you

Adult teeth always look more yellow than baby teeth especially when they are right beside the very white milk teeth.

Or is one yellow and other adult teeth aren't?

This happend with my little one on her baby teeth. One was definitely yellow. They said it could be due to antibiotics, it did correct itself but took a lot of time. Definitely get it checked when you can get an appointment

One of my DC has this, dentist said it was due to an infection while the tooth was growing I think.

My daughters tooth has yellow Mark's on it. I was told it was due to an injury she suffered. She'd fallen and banged her mouth as a toddler. She now in her early teens, and it's still.the same.
