I have just applied for some childcare assistance and have found they have registered A misspelled for my daughter.
At first they could not find her on the system. That is when I remembered that when I registered for child benefits the letter I received confirming we were eligible had a misspelling of her name on it. For example Emmie rather than Emmy. At the time I wrote back and asked for her name to be corrected.
When I searched this other name this afternoon they found her so I believe she is in the government system under an incorrect name.
How do I rectify this? She has the correct name on her birth certificate, passport and all medical notes.
