I’ve found my lost passport - do I need to do anything?

About 18 months ago, I reported my passport list and applied for a new one.

I have now found the lost.

Do I need to tell anyone, return it to the passport office etc?

Cut off the top right hand corner so it can't be used again. Then either keep it safely or send it back to the Passport Office for disposal.

I wouldn’t bother sending it back, they returned my old one when I ordered a replacement with the corner shipped off!

So just do that

Cheers both, that’s a point, they do always send the old ones back. No point in sending it in then!
