Mine is having baths. Normally only had time for a shower, but I'm appreciating relaxing in the tub!

Baking cakes, making new meals, yoga.

Davros · 10/07/2020 21:48

Bloody cleaning. Saving me £50pw though so I'm going to keep at it Sad

Lobsterquadrille2 · 10/07/2020 21:51

Eating and Zoom meetings.

AwkwardSquad · 10/07/2020 21:57

Work.

LaurieFairyCake · 10/07/2020 22:00

Gin

Had 8 different bottles so far - all different flavours

Alcoholism awaits 👍🏻😁

dudsville · 10/07/2020 22:00

This evening i spent a few seconds finally learning the rules to soduko and then playing a game. Won't do it again now that that particular thrill has been experienced. I'm the type of person who needs constant excitement.

It was home exercise for a while but a health issue flared up so not at the moment.

Reading. I’ve read more books in the last couple of months than I had in a year beforehand.

Decluttering, just because I had the time.

Playing with my toddler.

Snacking, unfortunately! I was doing well with gradual weight loss before lockdown. Oops.

Home ed planning - my son was HE before lockdown but we’ve really got into our best ever routine and structure now because I’ve had a clearer head. It’s made a massive difference.

And my favourite - talking on the phone! I’d forgotten how much I liked it. It’s helped me make a new friend too.

Also, I know it’s not exactly what you’re asking, and apologies for lowering the tone, but one thing I have done LESS of (virtually none in fact) is self harm - I was pretty much at breakdown point for quite a while before lockdown and this time has helped me reset.

Literallynoidea · 10/07/2020 22:01

More work

More shouting at the children

More going to bed at 9pm because I'm knackered.

I've hated it.

shumway · 10/07/2020 22:06

Crying.

BogRollBOGOF · 10/07/2020 22:11

Mindless nibbling
Loading the dishwasher
Clearing the table
Resusting urges to yell obscenities- my MN posts have become more sweary
More time on MN... it was already too much!

whenwillthemadnessend · 10/07/2020 22:12

Decorating upcycling and running

DisaronnoConnoisseur · 10/07/2020 22:13

I've become so obsessed with gardening. My garden has never looked so good and we are evening growing our own veg and fruit. I read about it. I watch videos on it. I'm actually really enjoying it. My DP isn't enjoying it in quite the same way.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 10/07/2020 22:24

Crying and being anxious and depressed.

All my exercise classes are now on Zoom, so I’ve tried some different ones.

Kindle books, particularly the 99p ones.

I’ve done no knitting or cross stitch which I usually enjoy.

Way too much time on the iPad.

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 11/07/2020 05:26

More reading. I'm averaging two books a week. But also a lot more twatting about on my phone.

KoalasandRabbit · 11/07/2020 05:32

More time talking to kids as no school.

More time doing school work, as no school as DS has SN so needs help / alternatives with it.

DisneyPlus wildlife films

More time with our pets.

More time cancelling holiday, trying to get refunds and rearrange. Then more time finding a new holiday.

Frownette · 11/07/2020 05:33

@Foxyloxy1plus1 it's been an odd time.

Walking to look at the sea, thinking, watching my favourite programs

Frownette · 11/07/2020 05:34

@shumway

I'm sorry Sad
ttigerlilly · 11/07/2020 05:44

hampstead1234 · 11/07/2020 08:14

Walking, a daily walk. Cooking, especially lunch.

Thorilicious · 11/07/2020 10:51

I'm sorry for those who have been suffering through this. I've done my fair share of crying too Flowers

Chicchicchicchiclana · 11/07/2020 10:51

myhandsareverycold · 12/07/2020 00:05

Working.

NellePorter · 12/07/2020 07:46

Working. Spending more quality time with the children. Cleaning.

EmmaStone · 12/07/2020 08:22

Too much online.

But also walking - I've always been quite keen on getting out for a walk, but having the time and space to go for longer walks and explore different parts of my area (rural, loads of footpaths), has been great. Done wonders for my cellulite too, bonus!

Decorating - some we've done ourselves (painted and papered 3 rooms), some we've managed to start planning properly, some trades we've managed to get in (plasterer, electrician, plumber, Carpenter). I'm itching to get our bedroom painted, and sort the kids' rooms out, but DH less keen.

Gardening. We moved house last autumn (also hence the decorating splurge), and have inherited a beautiful garden. We work hard on its maintenance, weeding, deadheading, replanting, plus we've created a small veg patch, which we're just starting to harvest. Watching the changes in the garden, the wildlife it supports has been joyful.

Cooking. All. The. Time. Actually, I'm not doing as much as the earlier part of lockdown, I tried lots of new recipes, we had themed days/weeks (largely based around holidays we'd had to miss 😭), with cocktails to tie in, and lovely cakes every week. I'm now on a diet 😂😂.
