My dd and her boyfriend (both Y1 University students who had to abandon their courses and everything else due to covid) are looking to have a few days away from it all in the second half of August/early September.
They were lined up for a free holiday place that has fallen through and they're absolutely gutted 
, and I just feel so bad for them as on the whole they have been absolute stalwarts through this incredibly shitty time .
Any ideas for what they can do, where they can go, anywhere in the south of England? As in south from Norfolk down. Must be reachable by public transport and cost less than £1000 for a week.
We would all be so grateful for suggestions!
