Six month old sicking up after purees while weaning

Six month old has been a sicky baby on and off anyway, we've been eating purees for a couple of weeks and he really wants to eat them quickly, kicks off if he doesn't think he's getting them quick enough.
But after each meal, about ten minutes after, he'll do a burp (lovely!) and sick up a tiny bit of milky-puree. It's not loads at all, and I think he's keeping some down, I just wondered if it could be overeating?
I was giving solids after a feed but stopped because I thought he could be full, so am doing it about half an hour to 50 minutes after a feed.
Not an allergy as he does it with all different foods.

He seems to really enjoy them, good at handling spoon, likes to try and feed himself, but does wolf it down very quickly, I have to slow him.

Is this usual? Should I speak to HV if I can get hold of them (not great in this area). He does have reflux, although it's much much better now.

Ah, I wouldn’t worry about it and I wouldn’t restrict his food. Babies are often six when they burp at this age.
He is capable of self regulating and knowing when he’s full. When he’s full he will refuse more... so just be guided by him.
He’ll grow out of the puking

Sick not six! Sorry

It sounds like he is going to fast, and swallowing too much air. How is he with more solid foods?

If it is just a little bit of sick after eating, I wouldn't worry too much. It should settle down as he adjusts to eating.

My DS was always a sicky baby. I thought once he started on actual food it would stop but nope! The sick just turned orange Grin

From memory it did gradually stop by time he was 1, it's quite normal
