I can't bear to look for a job

I just can't stand it. Especially during a recession.

Don't get me wrong, I realise I'm not going to find one unless I look for one. Nobody is going to hand me a job on a plate.

But I just can't bring myself to deal with that level of nonsense again. Just the levels of bull that you have to deal with, recruiters, patronising people, being turned down for no good reason etc.

There was also a time several years back when I took a job that I knew full well wasn't the right one for me, because I was so fed up of looking and just wanted a job. It didn't last, so I had to start looking again.

I just can't do it.

You can do it. Just this time, remember that a job is like a man. Don’t take the first one that offers itself to you if it feels wrong unless you are on benefits, because they’ll stop if you say no to a job
