Just wondering if anyone has ideas for a roughly half way meeting point between Blackheath and Haywards Heath for two families to meet up for a country walk and pub lunch? Obvs the pub would have to have outdoor tables and we would want something to do in the afternoon, so some nice gentle walking nearby, but then ideally not much more than an hour's drive home for both families.

Thanks for any help!

Lots of nice houses with walks around them in that area. Look for paths near Chartwell, Chevening, Toys Hill, Knole, Ightham Mote ....

The walks around Shoreham, Otford and Eynsford are also lovely - and there’s Lullingstone Castle too.
