How to get damp out of a print?

I have a limited edition print. Probably 1970s or so. No intrinsic value, I do think, but of great sentimental value to me.
Unfortunately, before it came to me, it has been quite marked by damp and the paper is badly discoloured and stained. Do you know how I could remove it? Even if only from around the edges of the print....

I wouldn’t even attempt doing that yourself. Take it to a professional framer and ask their advice. Look for one that is FATG registered and specialises in conservation framing/restoration.
