What food/drink just tastes better from certain places?

I don’t like Coca Cola or Pepsi.

But I adore soda coke from McDonald’s/subway/KFC etc

It quenches a thirst perfectly

Iced coffee tastes better in a cafe. I can make it at home - espresso, milk, and ice - but it isn’t the same.

Orange Fanta abroad it’s nice here but even better anywhere else

Steak is another thing

I can eat it at home fine, but I much prefer it in a restaurant as it just tastes so much better. Like actual meat instead of bland food

Lemon Fanta is only nice in Spain.

Fish and chips from the bispham kitchen with bread and butter and a bottomless pot of tea

Fish and chips out the paper by the seaside. Preferably the North Sea with a good strong wind blowing your hair out of your face whilst eating.

I asked DS if he wanted some cherries from the supermarket.

Not quite what you mean but cheese and tomato sandwiches are much nicer when not cold!

Retsina is defintiely better in Greece.

As is Ouzo. Some things don't travel well.
