Boring question of the day: Do you clear away before or after eating?

So, let's pretend you've made yourself eggs on toast for lunch.

Do you leave the cooking things out whilst you eat and clear everything away after.

Or do you clear the cooking things before sitting down to eat?

Definitely eat first. Eggs needs to be eaten quickly ime

I clean up mess whilst cooking, but wash up everything after eating. I hate food that is not piping hot. I didn't slave over a hot stove for lukewarm food 😤

Afterwards. Egg on toast needs to be HOT.

And pans that do need washing up possibly won't like the immediate heat shock of being rapidly cooled with the water, you probably want to leave them at least the time it takes to eat an egg on toast.
