Who were your music crushes?

I was just listening to him yesterday and thought how good some of his songs were.
I fancied Martin Kemp, Adam Ant and John Taylor most.

I saw him live quite a few times. Including the time I went into labour with DD, my exH had to get me to the other side if the county, as I wasn't due to give birth in the town the concert was in.

I love Paul Young

My obsession was John Taylor. Although I saw him on an old Duran documentary recently and thought he looked a bit ... soapy 🤭

David Bowie. I have loved him since I was about 13.

BBC Glasto on Sunday was a huge treat 🤩

Soapy? As in Emmerdale or as in he hadn't washed it out if his hair? . I never was a fan of Duran.

Had a great afternoon, playing 70's and 80's hits. Forgot there was so many good ones.

Another beautiful was Nuno from Extreme.

Paul Young I heard or saw him do Lay My Hat just with a guitar, years ago, it was great but being a thickoe I can't recall if radio or telly so can't say omg look it up. Bah.

Gino destroyed him, and the 80s with it.

I saw him in my local supermarket about ten years ago. He'd been a neighbour of a friend about 20 years beforehand, the friend at the time (10 years ago) being seriously ill. I should have spoken to him and regret it.

I absolutely loved Paul Young when I was a kid. I really thought we’d get married because we share a birthday!!
Never mind he is 17 years older than me.

Anyway I saw him live 18 months ago.

Jesus. It was a bit sad. Talk about dad dancing 🕺🏻.
He was laying on the stage whilst singing and kissing over excited middle aged women.
It was cringe.

Paul Young was handsome. Loved Adam Any. Also loved Paul McGann - actor now but in the 80s he and his brothers had a band.

I met him (well ok I saw him) at an equestrian event with his wife about 35 yrs ago!

His wife was competing in the event and so was I.

Was it his wife who left him for someone else, had a child with the other man, then went back to him, and he took on the child as his own?
