Can participants see me when I present in Google meet?

Hoping someone can help. I need to deliver a presentation to a large group of colleagues tomorrow. I'd like to have my face appear to the side of my PowerPoint somehow, or at least be visible in a corner of the screen. Otherwise I think my presentation is really impersonal! Does anyone know how I can achieve this??
Thanks in advance

Also share whole screen vs share window... your thoughts would be very much appreciated!!!

I'm no help as I've ever used it but a quick google seems to say you need to use google hangout and meet in order to do this

Thank you so much @imnottoofussed. I need to present in Google meet as that's what the attendees have as joining info. Maybe it's not possible... thanks for replying!

If you share entire screen, the participants can see you and your presentation but you can only see the presentation until you end it and return to the meeting.

@TSSDNCOP fantastic. Thank you so much. I've been googling for ages looking for just that answer! Thank you

You can go on and have a practice now without having anyone there in the other side. Set yourself up a new meeting and join it. It will start recording you. Then from memory near the bottom of the screen there are three dots. Click on there and share screen via Google chrome. Make sure you already have opened your presentation on another screen and you will see that and yourself in a little box on the side. Just play around with it as you can’t break it!

@pink1173 I've been playing with it all evening, I can run my presentation no problem but when I'm presenting all I see if my presentation. Hopefully participants can still see me

I think you will find they can see you even though you can’t see yourself. When I do mine( I’m a teacher and use it for my classes) I record myself and then it sends me a link via my email after about 15 minutes. I can then watch and check it and upload to my classroom. So you could check it by recording yourself and then watching it back.

@pink1173 that is such a good idea!! Thank you. Why didn't I think of that???

Récord, it saves to your google drive if you want to watch it back and check out how you look!
