Are Chilly's food pots as good as their bottles?

We may not be allowed to share a fridge when we go back to work, so looking for ways to keep salads properly chilled.

I have a Thermos food flask - I use it for hot food but it keeps soup, for example, at mouth-burning levels from 7.30 to 12.30, so I'm sure it would work for cold food too. However, for salads I just have an insulated lunch bag (very cheap and sold everywhere) and put an ice block next to my tupperware box. That works really well.

That would be a lot cheaper.

I have a terrible vice and it is buying reusable cups and tupperwares Blush I wasn't impressed with the Thermos I got for tea, but love my Chilly bottle for water.

I like the fact I can also put cutlery, paper napkin, fruit etc in there and then just plonk it on a shelf until lunch time. You just have to remember to freeze the ice pack overnight! You can get quite thin ones that don't take up too much space. I don't like the look of eating a salad from those metal pots, I don't know why.

I have a s'well bowl which is ace. I have multiple inner bowls, just stick that in straight from the fridge, no faffing with ice packs. Fresh as a daisy hours later. It was ridiculously expensive though really, and now it looks as if I'll be working from home forever...

I have two of the chillys food pots and they are great. Definitely as good as the bottles.

We have several different thermos ones, one from Tesco, a massively overpriced one we got from laklands and a few other types.

We’ve used the thermos ones most work days for years.
But now I have these I much prefer the chillys ones.

I like my Chillys bottle so much. The price isn’t too bad either- the s’well one looks great but can’t justify that Shock

On the ads on social media for chilly's food containers there are always loads of comments that they don't keep food warm enough 🤷‍♀️

I'm not particularly bothered about hot food, I've not got time in the morning to organise that anyway.

I just want cold cold food.
