For over a year now I've wanted to colour my hair the colour in this pic. My hair is currently a medium brown but does have a reddish tint. Everyone I've mentioned it to says I would really suit this colour due to my complexion. I can't afford the up keep of going to the salon every few weeks at the moment so I'd like to do this at home myself.

Can anyone please recommend a box dye that would achieve this colour? There's so many out there which is why I've put it off because I don't know which one to go for and I'm worried of messing it up. But I'm going to go for it next week, I just love this colour!

Try the Garnier colour match app. It's great fun and you can try all the colours against a picture of you.

We've been doing it tonight and there's a few which look this colour. Sadly none of them suit me.

That's my hair colour! I'm naturally dark blonde with a reddish undertone

To achieve it though I have to spend hours in the salon and it's a complicated multistage process.

I had been looking at the nice n easy ones either light auburn or the one Pp mentioned wasn't sure if they'd turn out like similar to the photo though. Someone did mention henna to me before, I'll have a look into it.
