Are play specialists still in hospitals?

My daughter is having major surgery next week. I was just wondering are play specialists still in hospitals at the moment? I really hope so as they helped my daughter so much last time

I was in hospital with my baby yesterday in the children's assessment unit and there was a play specialist there distracting a child having bloods taken.
