Help...!! It’s a Friday night so I have no where to turn. Currently in tears freaking out. I started my ‘period’ bang on day 27, left a day for spotting and started clomid the next day and have continued the 5 days! My ‘period’ was soooooo light and had completely stopped after day 2. I rang the fertility clinic who told me to do a test but carry on my tablet. I STUPIDLY didn’t take the test as last time I was on clomid 2 years ago my period stopped after 3 days (thinking this was the same again). I’m on ‘cycle day 8’ and have felt off all day. So tired, crampy and my stomach is so bloated. I have done a test and it’s positive. What should be a happy occasion I am gutted I’ve took a round of clomid as I am only reading bad things. I literally can’t ring anywhere till Monday. I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a wait and see approach. I don’t even know what I want.. a bit of advice or anything??

Sorry, please ignore that I read the thread and it was very short so won’t help

Hi OP sorry I don’t have any particular advice on that drug, but in my first trimester I took a course of tablets which had a risk of causing birth defects, and were not suitable to be taken during pregnancy (I didn’t know I was pregnant at the time of taking them!)

I remember the anxiety and worry, it was horrible and I felt so guilty on top. Try and be gentle with yourself, I felt loads better once I started having scans and could see DC was growing and developing as expected.

I phoned up the doctors and went to a pharmacist directly, in tears because I was so worried Sad and they weren’t as concerned as me, they just said to make sure I don’t take them again during my pregnancy.

Congratulations and I hope everything goes well Flowers
