With the lockdown basically ending in England on the 4th July, who wants to join me having a last day slumped in an armchair, drinking wine and stuffing their face with takeaway - given that nowhere nice is open and we can just about get away with telling ourselves that we're being encouraged not to go out!! Weight gain and terrible hair is mandatory at this point and is a badge of honour rather than a sign you've "let yourself go". Will you join me in a kebab/Chinese eaten off your lap, in your filthy home, washed down with whatever you have in the cupboard, one last time?? Before the hairdressers and restaurants reopen and normal standards of common decency are restored Grin

Sorry kittens. I appreciate that for lots of people things aren't going to be that different and wish you well Flowers

Me!

I have definitely enjoyed the lack of pressure to go out and am begrudgingly making tentative plans for some socially distanced meet ups for after the 4th.

For now enjoying chilling on the sofa watching another episode of in the night garden while the toddler refuses to nap 😬 however at the first sign of him nodding off I will be hitting Netflix for a quick binge with some crisps and chocolate! 😊

I'm going to miss lockdown. I like the fact that I don't have to invite people in when they knock on the door! It doesn't matter if the lounge floor is a total mess. Hurrah!
No school run time pressure, wine delivered by the crate and there's been so much cake passed round in our road it's been utterly wonderful!
