What item/thing/experience did you spent more than you should have done and looking back shouldn't have bothered and just gotten a standard one?

When I moved in a spent an extra £30 being a really cool retro looking house phone which had an old fashioned ringer.

I never use the house phone, struggle using the rotar when I do use it and I never recognise the old timey ringer is my house phone ringing until its to late to answer .

I guess it looks cool sitting on the side though, taking up so much space.

Got talked in to buying a very expensive large bottle of perfume off the sales assistant when I could barely afford the small one I wanted.

Various exercise machines which turn in to a clothes horse Grin

A spirilizer! I was going to zucchini noodle myself thin but it’s been collecting dust at the back of the cupboard.

The v.expensive juicer that’s next to the spirilizer because the amount of fruit/veg it takes to make one glass of Juice is a joke! ( unless I stick to carrot and swede juice)

I've just spent £40 on three bottles of Worcester sauce and two catering-size rolls of foil. I haven't done any stockpiling all through lockdown (or ever) but I heard there was a Worcester sauce shortage and just ... panicked. I don't even like Worcester sauce, it's for DH.
