Backstory:
Been on the pill since age 14, GP suggested it to help with my skin plus periods were pretty painful. Did a decent job with both, my skin has never been totally clear but it definitely improved things.
Fast forward 14 years later and i've become a bit er... unnerved by the thought that I have no idea what im like without the additional hormones! I've always been prone to the odd ragey moment, plus over the last year my sex drive has taken a real plunge so I thought hey, lets take the opportunity to come off and see what im like without it. No babymaking intentions at all, just curiosity.
I was on combined pill/Yasmin, stopped taking it April 23rd. Withdrawal bleed. Then nothing happened for about 3 weeks.
Then the hormones started - not weepy, like i have done in the past. Just IRRITATED. Or weirdly flat/neutral (which isnt like me) and swinging around day by day.
My skin has reacted...horribly. Always had combination skin anyway, and now im just a greaseball with a load of painful spots on my forehead and chin.
The bloating. The BLOATING. Bonkers. I have now been bloated for 80% of the last month. I go between fitting into my jeans fine or not at all in the space of a day.
Appetite has reduced for sure (always loved my food 
)
Random cramps and aches, nothing too horrible, but.... no period still! Which is a bit frustrating as i've braced myself for it to be a bit um... intense, but i keep getting the warning sign cramps and then nothing!
Please tell me it will get better! Or get your horror stories off your chest, i'll take anything!!
