I'm panicking a little!

Have I just fed my baby a mouldy orange?

Well it’s possible it does look a bit manky. However there’s not much you can do about it. If it tasted really horrible they would have spat it out. How old are they?

Maybe a bit...I'm sure your baby will be fine! Especially if it wasn't actually that brown bit, but a bit from elsewhere on the orange. If it makes you feel better, I once made my 3yo a pate sandwich, only to discover later that day that the peel-back bit of the packaging was green with mould. He's now 12, no apparent harm done...

When my DD was younger, I made her beans on toast. It was only later that I noticed the remainder of the bread in the packet was green and mouldy! I'm sure your baby will be absolutely fine.
