Saw my dad, well first time in 5 months. It was lovely for the DC to have someone else round

Had a Quarter Pounder with Cheese and fries and it tasted fricking awesome.

Worn perfume. It smelled odd on me

Stopped at a pub (well the door) & had a pint in a plastic cup outside. Chatted to some strangers in the sun.
It was bliss

Saw my parents. It was so lovely.

I actually considered putting nail polish on, but the effort of taking it off again when it starts chipping put me off I used to wear it all the time!

Wore jeans. Been living in leggings and tracksuit bottoms.
Was weird

Travelled to somewhere that wasn't where I lived or worked.

I went shopping in another town entirely!

Had an almost normal family day out, visited a National Trust place, used public toilets, took a picnic and enjoyed ourselves.

Swam in the sea :)

Gone into Next. It made me feel weird and a bit nauseous

Ate a Big Mac - and enjoyed every morsel!

Last week I went to London on the train (from the North). It was bizzare being at the central stations then tube with barely anyone around on a Saturday afternoon. And all the starbucks and sandwich places shut.

For me lockdown won't be over until the cafes bars and restaurantsa re open again.

Went shopping! It was bloody brilliant

I ate Nando's in my car

Went to the park with my dc
Had a take away with the girls at a friends house
Went to a relatives house for Sunday roast!!
It's sooooo good to feel normal!!!

Saw one of my best friends and my daughter's god mother-amazing.

Used my hair straighteners for the first time since March

Am I missing something - what was significant about yesterday (other than being Father's Day).

Nothing significant. Just chatting.

Really wish I could stop shielding but inspired by this I'll put on some makeup and nail varnish today.

Saw friends new baby who was born 10 weeks ago.

Bought sweets.

Not this weekend, but last week I got the bus to the next town over- twice! First time further than 3 miles from my house since 23rd March!

Attempted to go non essential shopping but was too stressful so went home again Online shopping for the foreseeable

Our social distancing guidance and gathering rules have all gone. (Off shore). So I met up with a friend, had in laws round for a takeaway, went to the supermarket like normal, stopped off for a pint, had friends round for dinner - twice.

It was lovely and weird at the same time. So much has changed but in another way nothing has. Everyone still very aware that it could all come back as soon as we open our borders.

And it was exhausting to see so many people!
