My partner of 10 years turned vegetarian last year and then vegan earlier this year. I fully support his own choice.. but!
He is constantly going on at me about becoming vegan myself and our children.
He watches videos of activists and reads research and asked me to watch some with him which i have. I see the health benefits of being vegan and i like most people do not like the idea of cruelty to any animal but i do not want to become vegan and i am not fond of the idea of turning my childrens lifestyle upside down.
What do i do? He has a very passionate personality but i cant say anything without being told im going to destroy my childrens lives by feeding them meat and dairy products.
If i put a bowl of lentils and a range of vegetables thst isnt carrots etc infront of my 7 and 5 year old.. they wont eat it!
Why cant he just agree and settle that irs everyones own personal choice and we shouldnt force his opinions on anyone.
His usual line of ' we have been conditioned to believe we should eat meat' and 'im just trying to educate you' and other things hes heard by activists on these videos are just sounding more cult-like.
Help! Please!
