A genuinely lovely young man who just doesn't get it

Oh, that's a shame he's a proper working class white lad, willing
to understand but doesn't get it as yet. Not mine, someone I know as a friend of a friend.

The Hate U Give is easy to read, but lots of good stuff. (Also a film).

Someone said ‘How can all lives matter until black lives matter?’

Children of Blood & Bone? Fantasy, but then (spoiler) relates horrific acts in the clearly fiction story to equally horrific acts that have been carried out against young black people. There loads of anti racism book lists out at the moment.
