Single skinny parent. Worth paying for divan bed assembly service?

First divan bed so no idea if assembly involved.

Bed company will deliver to room
And for an extra £25 they will assemble divan bed and dispose of packaging.

No one to help me assemble and I’m on the scrawny side of skinny so bit weak!

However, keen to save money where I can

Is it straightforward? (Apparently delivered in two parts and I have two drawer storage option aswell) or should I splurge the £25

Many thanks

If they deliver to your room you won't need help with assembly. It's easy.

Save the money! There is barely any assembly required. Just clip the two bits together. Seriously, it's piss easy

If it has castors you may have to put those in too (they just slot in) and manhandle it a little bit to get all the wrapping off.

It's not all that hard, but make sure the deal is that they bring it to the room of your choice. You won't want to be moving it through doorways yourself.

But DO check they're aren't any amendments to their delivery policy at the moment. We had wardrobes delivered last week and they were dropped at front door. Same with new sofa coming this week. They will NOT enter the property due to Covid. Even so, divan bases arent too heavy

Is it a single bed or larger?

Single beds don't need assembling but a double etc come in two bits are usually really light and the clips go on the base of bed so just put the two base parts on their side next to each other and clip them together- easy! Save your money.
