Has anyone had to see a dentist during this time?

I really, really don’t want to have to visit the dentist but my crown has come off.
It’s been loose the last few weeks but I’ve managed to re-position it each time but it’s popped off this morning and no chance of going back this time no matter what.
I’ve contacted the dentist and now waiting to hear back from them.
Has anyone had to visit the dentist during this time? I’m really nervous as obviously I’m not going to be able to wear a face mask and that stresses me.

Yes - my teenage daughter cracked her tooth and my (private) dentist saw her the same day.

Was absolutely fine, temperature check beforehand, hand sanitiser before and after, a mask for her right up until she led in the chair, nobody else in the practice. She did only have a temporary filling in it though as the dentist has to do more PPE measures for when she does the drilling.

Assuming your dentist will see you - as I know a lot of NHS dentists aren't - just go, you'll be fine. Dental surgeries are extremely clean and hygeine concious anyway.

Yes I have. And it was absolutely fine. They took all precautions and to be honest I was so desperate to see them due to tooth pain I would have gone whatever. But it was fine.
