Do you freeze the block? Or weigh it out first?

I have no idea how hard it goes to know which way to do it Confused

Thanks :)

I froze some fresh yeast. It is frozen solid. To use it, it will need defrosting as it can't be sliced or broken up as it is now.

Mine was a pack of 4 x 28 g cubes wrapped in foil, from Morrisons, I opened each one and sliced it in half, I think, so I can use half or whole cube without needing to defrost the whole lot.

@BarbaraofSeville thank you. I'll do it individually rather than in the block in that case :)

I broke it all into portions the size I usually use ready to defrost when needed
