Ideas for gift for female employee

I have an employee who works in my small business who has really gone above and beyond lately. So I'd like to get her a gift to show how much I appreciate her that isn't chocolates or flowers.

She's 45 years old, married with one son who's 16. She doesn't wear make up or perfume or bother with her hair. She loves her animals and her hobby is walking her dogs.

Any ideas?

A book of local walks
A voucher for a dog friendly cafe/pub
A garmin gps tracker or smart watch
Some merino wool socks & some foot soak

Amazon gift vouchers always go down well

How much do you want to spend?

Something like a nice scarf or wallet / purse?
Candle
A nice plant
A silk pillowcase

A gift voucher for Not On The High Street

I don’t want a gift voucher. I want to buy her something

She doesn’t drink!

SomeBunnyOvertheRainbow · 19/06/2020 09:09

Oh sorry I completely confused threads! Sorry OP and Bridecilla and Mydiary

Ignore that comment Blush

I have a separate thread for a gift for a colleague and thought I was on that thread for a second!!

Depending on your budget, there are some great dog portrait artists out there, what about getting a painting of her dog done for her? Or if you can access a nice photo of her dog, getting it printed and framed.

“Thanks for the ideas all but I’d prefer to buy her an item as opposed to a voucher. Unfortunately she doesn’t drink so I have to discount that. I’m grateful for all ideas though, so please keep them coming....thanks!”

Hmm

I’m out.

Have you confused comments @MyDiary? I don’t think OP has said anything is wrong with your suggestions

SomeBunnyOvertheRainbow · 19/06/2020 16:44

I’m out.

Why the flounce? Is this because of my comment? That’s not OP’s fault. I said I had mixed up threads.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I like the Doog stuff. I'll have a good look.
