What are you getting your dad for fathers day?

Just wondering as I need to get something but I don't know what. He doesn't have any hobbies as such, he's not into clothes alot and likes things that are useful or maybe even a gadget of some sort.

Any ideas welcome :)

does he have something that he can use to facetime/video call you on? you could look at getting a amazon fire tablet and installing facebook messenger on it (can be used for video calls), or zoom.

He has an ipad and an iPhone so can use them for facetime :) even if he is a nightmare using them for anything else Grin

ah ok, I'm hoping to get my dad a kindle or a monthly book subscription if that is something he would be interested in?

My dad quit smoking after 50+ years this January; the thing he has found most useful to not smoke has been wine gums. So I have sent him a shitload of them and a funny card.

The dc and I have got their dad a football shirt, phone case, grow bags, compost and seeds.

I've got a grandad card and am getting DS1 to draw a nice picture inside - he's gone from scribbles to stick people with faces during lockdown and the gp are very impressed. Will also make him a batch of chocolate cupcakes.

My dad is getting a couple of jigsaws and his favourite sweets, which are liquorice all sorts! I've bought a card and the kids have made happy fathers day - grandad cards. DH's dad is getting a bottle of posh local Gin and some tonic and cards made by the kids. The kids and I have bought DH socks and chocolates and made more cards. None particularly imaginative and everything bought online as we've not been to any shops since before lockdown, but equally all gifts that we know will be appreciated and enjoyed.
