Scentsy

Just wondering what people's experiences of Scentsy have been? Any good? A friend has just become a rep, I would like to order but have never had anything before. If you have their products would you recommend?

I have a friend who uploads FB videos of herself and kids demonstrating this stuff every day. She is emotionally blackmailing her friends and relatives to buy and support her new business and somehow has become a team leader in a month. She recruited her sister, who is now all over FB selling the same tat. This is a pyramid scheme isn’t it ?

Yup, a pyramid scheme made legal by having a product for sale. Except as a pp has said it is cheaper to get the melts on eBay so reps are left with the options to also sell on eBay and hope to recoup some of the costs of buying the products to sell, really push hard for friends and family to buy from them at higher prices, to recruit and make money that way, or to make a loss and quietly give it up

I love scentsy wax & have a burner. I have a few friends who still rep but neither of them do it to make a living & are pushy.

Lots of reps will lend you a burner & some samples to try it out. I've been using one for a few years now after a scented candle shattered on me.

I've tried other wax too & just haven't found another brand that smells as good & lasts as long as it does.

ny20005 That’s because they can’t do it to make a living; they’re losing money hand over fist.

Lots of reps will lend you a burner & some samples to try it out.

Of course they will, because they’re trying to get you to join them and subsequently lose a load of money when you do.

I love Scentsy, not a rep, I have 3 warmers and more wax than I can count. I like the scents and like the warmers. I buy when they are on offer and my rep is not pushy at all and has never asked me to join her team.

I love scentsy. A friend from work does it. I normally buy stuff in the flash sales and when they have special offers. They're well made (you get a lifetime warranty for the warmers as well) the scents last for a while aswell. The waxes you can buy ones don't last as long but you can still put them in the warmers.
It is one of the pyramid scheme things. I think it depends on the person whos selling them. My friend makes a tidy profit. She's not pushy or anything. The products sell themselves really! Xx

I love scentsy, I've not found other wax melts yet that last as long scent wise. I still look and try others. I normally buy the sale bars and stock up that way. The last warmer I bought was paid from birthday money. Next one will probably be christmas money as no they are not cheap but they are lovely.

I dug you know it was MLM and as such felt no obligation to buy and quite fancied a warmer so bought one. No pressure at all to buy anything. I like the smells and they are way stronger than others I tried so I'm ok with what I bought. Do I need more? No. But no pressure either. Unlike Tropics...
