When can I walk on my new lawn?

Our lawn was destroyed by a trampoline so last week we dug it up and sowed new seeds. The grass has started to grow but the dandilions are coming quicker and in large quantities. Anyone know when it is safe to get the weeds out? I want to use one of those tools that get the roots but you would have to stamp on the lawn and I don't want to ruin the hard work!

A quick google suggests 8-12 weeks

How long before I can use my newly seeded lawn?
For a spring sowing, I recommend waiting 8-12 weeks before walking on the grass.

A seeded lawn takes much longer to mature than turf. Until your grass has a strong root system, I would advise not walking on it any more than necessary. You may have green shoots but that doesn’t mean your grass is “done”.

I’ve trodden on one before that. If you use planks then it spreads the pressure. I’d give it a couple more weeks though. See how it looks.
