Very much depends on what loon you’re going for. 30s style would be lots of cream, a bit of black and chrome here and there. 70s would be more brown, maybe some burnt orange in there too, that could work if you get the right shades and above all textures. And maybe avoid too much brown.
Have a look at a website called first dibs, they have lots of antique walnut bedroom furniture which is sometimes styled nicely for the photos, good ideas there.
Personally I’d go al all out and get some emerald and kingfisher colours and silky fabrics, couple of deep pile cream rugs. Avoid any fabric that has an additional pattern though.
