What series does your DS watch? Is Pokemon ok aged 4 ?

My DS won't watch any normal tv, used to watch paw patrol, Hey Duggee, octanauts but now only wants to watch fire fighters on the iPad ( not fireman Sam unfortunately anymore but real fire fighters, mainly in the US.) So some of the stuff is not appropriate, so I'm trying to get him into a series. We tried PJ masks but he didn't like it and maybe a bit violent ?

What does your DS age 4 ish watch ? Would Pokemon be a bad idea? Is that violent too? I'm not sure he'd like it anyway , he loves vehicles.

4 year old ds loves pokemon, Andy's adventures on iplayer, and then some obscure Netflix shows.

My 4 year old loves the new Thunderbirds on citv. I think it is quite good (team work etc) and he likes the vehicles.

He also watches Pokemon and Transformers on there although they are rubbish.

He sometimes reverts to cbeebies randomly but seems to prefer programmes for older children now.

My almost five year old watches pokemon, he still likes babybum, he also watches a little bit of thunderbirds.

My just 5 year old watches pokemon, ninjago, anything Lego related...
sometimes he watches YouTube- Ryan’s world and Toy lab tv

My 4 year old is currently obsessed with Thunderbirds. He also loves Paw Patrol and PJ Masks.

ohhh I'll try find thunderbirds on catch up. My brother loved that as a kid.

So what channel is Pokemon on? I was looking at downloading it, but if is on I won't.

We have tried transformers briefly, not keen, despite having a few basic transformers toys.

Blippi if he likes "real life" stuff - I bet there are loads of firefighter episodes.

My dd tries pokemon when she was 4 but I think it was too fast paced for her

She still loves go jetters and paw patrol

DS is obsessed with Transformers Rescue Bots and Ninjago/Lego. I've definitely noticed since he turned 4 he is much more into older kids stuff and what I think is a bit violent.

Try Super Why, Justin Time, and Storybots on Netflix, DS likes them too. On Prime, Creative Galaxy and Blippi (but don't let him Google Blippi....)
